- Upon seeing one who is distinguished in world learning:
- Praised are You, Eternal our God, Sovereign of the universe, who has given of Gods wisdom to flesh and blood.
- Upon seeing a head of state:
- Praised are You, Eternal our God, Sovereign of the universe, who has given of Gods glory to flesh and blood.
- Upon hearing good news:
- Praised are You, Eternal our God, Sovereign of the universe, who is good and beneficent.
- Upon hearing bad news:

- Upon visiting a place where one experienced a miraculous rescue:
