Rabbi Jo David is the founder and Executive Director of the Jewish Appleseed Foundation, Inc. in New York City. She maintains a private rabbinical practice, working with individuals and families on lifecycle and Jewish living events and issues. She has served Reform congregations on Long Island, in Westchester, and in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She is currently the rabbi of the Free Synagogue of Flushing in Queens, New York.

Ordained by the Academy for Jewish Religion in 1992, Rabbi David has served is a member of the Academy's faculty, specializing in Jewish life cycles and Reform Liturgy. She is also a member of the Derech Torah faculty (introduction to Judaism) of the 92nd Street Y. She holds a Masters degree in Judaic Studies from the Skirball Department of Judaic Studies at New York University, with a specialization in Bible.

Outreach to Jews and non-Jews alike is an important part of Rabbi Davids rabbinate. She has worked with communities throughout the United States, and around the world, including Sydney, Australia; Barcelona, Spain; Alma Ata, Kazakhstan; Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska; and Germany.

Active in the area of interfaith relations, Rabbi David has taught Introduction to Judaism at Molloy College in Rockville Center, New York, and has had an ongoing affiliation with Marymount Manhattan College for many years. She also maintains a counseling practice for couples who are intermarrying.

Rabbi David is a published author of books and articles on a wide variety of topics. Her most recent publication is How to Trace Your Jewish Roots, a beginners book on Jewish genealogy. The Book of the Jewish Life, published by URJ Press is the life cycle textbook for Reform religious schools. Her original prayers, poems and meditations appear in Covenant of the Heart and Covenant of the Soul, both published by Women of Reform Judaism, and in The Reform Jewish Reader.

Rabbi David is married to the artist and scribe, Neil Yerman.

Rabbi Margaret Frisch Klein is a third-year rabbinical student at the Academy for Jewish Religion in Riverdale.

Within the Jewish community she has worked as a teacher both of children and adults on a variety of Jewish topics. Currently she is in charge of adult study at Temple Emanuel of the Merrimack Valley in Lowell, MA, and a teacher at Congregation Shalom in Chelmsford, MA, and Beth Elohim in Acton.

She is the rabbinic intern at Refugee Immigration Mininistry, an organization dedicated to welcoming the stranger and serving uprooted peoples, as well as the vice president of the Greater Lowell Interfaith Leadership Alliance, GLILA.

She dedicates her participation in the rabbinate to making Judaism enriching and accessible to all who are interested, and her participation in this online forum is an expression of that desire.
