Reflection
In the month of Sivan, we celebrate the revelation by the Holy One of the Ten Commandments to the Jewish people. (Some say it was the entire Torah.) Sivan is the month in which we prepare ourselves for the holy occasion of Shavuot. It is a time when we turn our thoughts to trying to understand God’s will and deepen our relationship with God through the study of Torah. |
Prayer
I turn my heart to the Holy One who is the Source of Revelation. May it be Your will, O One Who Loves Me, to bless me with a clear understanding of my life’s work. Open the meaning of Your Torah to me. Help me to hear and comprehend the guiding words that You whisper to my heart. Reveal to me the path of my life, the path that will lead me to sweetness, healing and joy. |
